From reading the attached I'd like to know if you cannot have Avistan if you've already been on chemo using taxol as part of your treatment? Is it only to be used with taxol IF you haven't received taxol during chemo before?

Sorry for the confusing questions. I'm not good with these "report" type thingy's and almost always am confused by them (OK - ALWAYS confused by them) so would appreciate any clarification from the "smart" ones in this place. LOL!

From what I read if you had a Taxane within the last 12 months you were not eligible for the trail.

"Patients who had received adjuvant taxanes in the 12 months prior to study entry, patients with a prior history of blood clots or who were receiving blood thinners, and patients with brain metastases were not eligible to enroll in this study"
