I met Greg Anderson recently, and I would recommend watching this to hear his very inspirational story. Prayer is only one part of his amazing recovery from stage IV lung cancer 22 years ago. He had one lung removed, and radiation, yet cancer had advanced, given 30 days to live.
He is married, his daughter was two years old at the time.
He has other books, not all prayer based. Cancer: 50 essential things to Do, is nutrition, exercise, etc is probably the best known. I believe he now has offices in 9 countries.
