It's been a while since I submitted, but i've looked in frequently to keep in touch!!!!!!!

1st dx 2001.. grade 3 agressive BC....Mastectomy L/breast
chemo x 3mths + 3 mths clinical trial (Taxotere) x adj chemo
22/24 pos nodes !!!!

Tamoxifen ( didn't work )

Secondary...2003..same side..chestwall. 3mth vinoralbine/herceptin
Good result !!! NO !!!! Great Result !!!!!

Herceptin only since Dec 2004.....

Still here to tell the tale.....

Just had all sorts of tests, will see Oncologist Tuesday coming......

Very Positive

Just had bone scan/CT and heart echo!!! Will get results, coming tuesday..

Will find out then if I'm coming off Herceptin. Fingers XXXXXXXXXXX

Great to hear your news. Hope all your scans come out well.

I'm dealing with a local recurrence and it's always good to hear of bc sisters that are doing well.

You didn't mention whether your treatment included rads. Did you have them as well?
