FDA Advisary Panel Just OK'd New Prostate Drug
 

By vote of 17-0, the panel approved the safety of the new prostate drug. By vote of 14-3, the panel approved the efficacy of the drug, The drug maker is DNDN (the stock symbol) The experimental drug works on an entirely new mechanism. You will read the news in tomorrow's paper.

The drug's name is Provenge, made by Dendreon. The mechanism is to enhance the body immune system to fight the cancer. This same principle may lead to breast cancer medicine in the future. Therefore, it is not a remote subject for us to be aware of it.
