To low in blood cells-any tips?
 

Hello to you all,

My chemofriend, (Her+ stage IV, not on herceptin at the moment due to mets and its not working very well) is in trouble with her blood cells which means she has to cancel treatment every now and then. She had 2 l. of blood the other day and is asking me wether she can do something or eat something to higher her blood cells.
I can´t answer it myself because I have never had that problem.
Can you advice?

My radiologist told me to eat liver (I hate it) or liverwurst. I tried the liverwurst and in the following series of tests, my red blood levels had improved. However, it may have just been time, as I was already off chemo for more than two months.
