Happy 2 Year Anniversary Rhonda

Hi Rhonda,

Just wanted to say "Happy 2 year anniversary." I know how we all count the days and are so thankful for each and every day the Lord gives us.

Enjoy YOUR day!

Hugs from my little corner of the world.

I would like to congratulate you as well on reaching the 2 year mark. What a great feeling this must be. Can you share with us how it makes you feel to reach this point? When do you count it from, end of treatment or date of diagnosis? Very happy for you. Wishing you continued good health.

MJO, who is 15 months and counting

Hey Rhonda - Congratulations on 2 years out! I hope you did some celebrating today!

RhondaH 02-01-2007 02:57 PM

Thank you...

I count the day I was dx. I just got back from roller skating with my son's school (it's Catholic Schools Week) and our PRIEST did better than me and Tony fell and got a bump on his noggin. Then he had his 6 year well child exam and NOW I'm getting ready to blow out the foot of snow (as another foot falls on me) out of my driveway and sidewalk so YESSSS...I'm celebrating life. Take care and God bless and embrace all the milestones in your life, the start of what will be your LONG life.

Rhonda

Big Congratulations Ronda on being two years out already.

I know you will have at least another 50 or more. http://www.her2support.org/vbulletin...lies/smile.gif The roller skating sounds like it was FUN. I haven't done that in so longgggg. I am so glad your out there enjoying and having a good time. That's what life is all about. (Now if only you didn't have all the snow to blow off the driveway you would have it made.) http://www.her2support.org/vbulletin...lies/smile.gif

Sending many warm wishes and happy thoughts your way.

Chelee

Question for those of you who are WAY better versed than I.

Help from you out their who get this stuff WAYYY better than I. I was reading an article at breastcancer.org about a 5 year study done using taxotere and I was confused as I'm not sure if the taxol I was on is what they mean. They were talking about early stagers and taxotere and it's benefit in no recurrence/survival rates.

I was on the dose dense regimen of A/C (4 cycles) and taxol/herceptin (4 cycles on taxol) and herceptin started with taxol and received every 3 weeks there after for 1 year.

Could someone check it out for me and let me know if my regimen is what they were talking about or if "taxotere" is a different drug in that family I should have used instead. Also something was said about adriamycin also - possibly not receiving that and something else but I'm not sure.

My onc. (also a breast cancer survivor) felt my course of treatment was the most aggressive and best for me and my circumstance.

Thank you and sorry for my jumbled words and possible wrong information. Hope someone out their can clarify it for me.

Mary Jo
