Last Herceptin Tomorrow
 

Jill's last Herceptin is tomorrow. I can't believe that a year has passed!?! She is a little anxious about ending the treatments. I know this has been discussed in other posts, but can anybody give insight as to how you approached the end of your regimen or dealt with any anxieties about ending treatment?

Hi. I finished less than a month ago, I don't really have any strategies. For me, life's little duties have kicked in, ie. holidays and sick friends. I haven't thought much about it. I think new studies will be out May 07, where we can all re-evaluate our strategies. So take this time to enjoy. Congrats. BB

Congratulations! I finished herceptin in June 06. It was scarey, but also such a relief. On my way home I stopped and bought ice cream to celebrate (though watching the weather depending on where you are that doesn't sound like a good idea right now). I had posted on the side effects post and will dig it out later and give an update on things that have gotten better.
