Info on radiation Pneumonitis anyone?
 

Hi has anyone had this after rads or knows anything about it ??
I had my port out two weeks ago and a few days later was short
of breath and had pain breathing.
My onc felt it could be a clot from the port but had an x ray and blood tests
so thats not the case but as my chest sounds clear to her it's a puzzle.
She is'nt concerned at this point about lung mets so I could'nt think what it
may be but remembered my rad onc mentioning this.
I finished rads in April and know this can occour roughly six months later
so the timing and symptoms seem to be right.
It was obviously coincidence with the port removal but would appreciate
any thoughts or advice on this from anyone.

I'm now on a much higher and stronger antibiotic this week to see if that helps but will definatly discuss the possibility of this with my onc on Friday.
