Don't know whether you saw my thread entitled 'Encouraging news'? Not out of the woods yet - are we ever? - but it is a big step in the right direction.

Jean - hope things are well with you.

Kathy - look forward to being so far along the road as you.

Susan - I hope your recent mammogram went okay. Can understand your fear because, like me, you received neither chemo nor herceptin. Let me know how you got on.

Thanks for remembering.. I also wondered how things went with you. My mammo went well. Said there is nothing there to wonder about. It made me feel a lot better. But, strangely, I cannot say I felt "happy". I think that's the part you say where we are never really out of the woods. I hope everything is going well for you. Dear Mcgle,

So good to hear your good news! I often consider this bc like a big fat
elephant - and how do you eat a big fat elephant? Well one bite at a
time. Each day that passes I figure we are one more day ahead.

I am doing well - completed my chemo on 9/7/06...I am now having
one year of herceptin. So far the infusions are going well.
Will have a mug test next month - and I am now 1/4 way completed.
I think we will always feel we are not out of the woods.
I just pray each day that the drugs are working for me.
