Encouraging news
Hi everyone
Just had my first post-op mammogram and ultrasound - NED! Was worried because I am weakly HER2+, and had neither chemo nor herceptin. Not out of the woods yet, but it's a step in the right direction. Have read that if HER2+ cancers are going to come back, they generally do so within the first two years. Is this correct? Mcgle |
Well done Mcgle! We have met on the other forum where you were good enough to answer my questions. I also had heard this and being in the same position as you (except grade 3) it would be good to have more info.
Very best wishes Ros |
Yay!
Congrats on good news! I've read the 2 year mark as well, and that each year passed after that is a step away from risk of recurrance. I wonder about the statistics involved in that statement. Seems likely enough.

Hi!!
Congratulations! Every year out is good news. Nevertheless, I did recur 6 years later. We can never let our guard down. Good luck, Barbara H. |
