Prostate cancer in family history?

Wondering how many of you out there had a family history of prostate cancer?

I have been wondering the same thing

My father had prostate cancer; however, it was not aggressive, he lived with it for at least 15 years and died of unrelated causes at the age of 86.

prostate history

I am 48, diag. a year ago, mom also at age 69, and her older sister at age 70, two brothers of theirs have been diag. with prostate and bladder cancer (early-mid 60's) Their dad passed erly 70's from cancer that could have been metastatic prostate cancer....I do believe from what I have read that their is a correlation between all of the hormone driven cancers.....

I lost my Uncle on November 2, 2006 with prostate cancer met to pelvis and shoulder. He was 88 years old. He is the only male on my mother side of the family. Like I am the only female on my mother and father side with breast cancer.
