Wishing everyone a Happy and safe Halloween. Those with children enjoy the fun! I live rural so don't get anyone at my house. I am happy just to be alive as its been another great year. I would go to a friends however, I have a private art class tonight and that will be fun. Sending you all a big Halloween hug, Sandy

Hi Sandy,

Happy Halloween to you as well! I'm with you - it's been a great year for me too. Last Halloween I was completely bald and still had 2 chemo treatments to go (chemo ended Nov. 30, 2005) and now here I am one year later with a beautiful head of hair (not bragging - just thankful for it) and I have NED. Praise God. Herceptin ended just recently as well - Oct. 11, 2006 and I am feeling awesome.

So, life is good. I'm learning to live each day to the fullest - take it one day at a time and trust that our lives our in the Hands of God so I can rest and and relax.

God's Blessing of Peace to you,

Mary Jo

Hi to all!

I got to watch my oldest granddaughter (7) trick or treat in our little condo area (14 units)! I feel so blessed to feel good enough to enjoy it all. Life is good. Just 4 more of Navelbine and Herceptin. Then just rads and herceptin. God bless each and everyone of you. Your spirit and courage are the best medicine of all.

My children are grown, so my youngest daughter, who is 20 and in college and I handed out candy to trick or treaters and I made popcorn balls for ourselves. That is our yearly tradition. My mother used to make popcorn balls every Halloween. I am also happy to be alive and celebrating holidays. Happy Halloween everyone.

Thanks Sandy...

I hope you had a good Halloween. I love Halloween and I just have to share that we had a great spooky season. My 10 year old girl LOVES chihuahuas (don't quite know where that came from). We put togehter an adorable chihuahua costume and even made a gold name tag with the name 'Chichi' on it for her collar. My 7 year old came up with the idea of being a Halloween queen. She had a tiara with spider webbing hanging off of it, black cat choker, spider earrings hanging off her black leotard and skull bandana aroung the waist , black tights, black and orange tulle skirt and boa and, her favorite part was the black lipstick-it was a crack up. We had a festival at school with games and healthy food and a parade. I decided at the last minute that my saucy SWAT team costume I wore to party on Saturday was really not appropriate for school so I came up with a crazy fortune teller costume. I called myself, the 'Mysterious Madame Carcinoma' and I read palms-we had a blast. The kids were adorable.

Now for the holiday season...It is great to be alive!

We took my seven month old grand-daughter out trick or treating. She could have cared less about it all, she was more into all of the sights. And she liked all of the people talking to her.
