Had scans on Wednesay and monday. rang Onc to get results. For the first time he said he has not seen them and will discuss next Thursday ( when i have next appointment). Makes me feel there has been spread - have skin mets and now a lymph node but maybe there is more. feeling a bit fatalistic about it all and tired of the dragging out. Sorry.

It could be that he doesn't have the results back as yet. I went to my onc's office on Thursday to get blood drawn (counts, HER2 serum test and genetics). While I was there I asked for a copy of my PET/CT scan that I had done on Monday and a copy of my echocardiogram that I had done the previous Tuesday. Well, the nurse had to get on the phone. Got the echo results faxed over so I got my copy of that. The place where I had the PET/CT said they didn't have the report finished yet. Makes me wonder what's taking so long as they said my doctor would have the results the next day. I'm worried and trying to keep my mind occupied with other things -- it's not working. Hang in there, I'm sure your results will be ok. Keep us posted.

Sending you a big hug...waiting is so hard....hoping your scans are all good reports for you....keep your chin up and focus on the great person you are....I will keep you in my prayers....sometimes this fight overwhelms all of us!

Thanks for your support - am hoping my Onc will have the Tykerb on Thursday but know it won't be so easy and now I wait for scans as well. Thanks for your support - I know you have experienced the wait as well- just feel cheated I guess after the pain of the 5 weeks rads and now it moves again - but we all have experinced this - it really is a trying disease.
