last herceptin treatment
Hooray! I had my last herceptin treatment yesterday! I am very excited...have an excellent prognosis. Also scared to be cut loose from the life I have known for the past 18 months, surgery, chemo, herceptin...This site has been an invaluable wealth of support for me...thanks so much to all of you!!!

Congrats to you Susan............I know the feeling. I finished October 11, 2006. It does feel good to get on with the business of living without those every 3 week visits for herceptin treatments. I'm just starting now to feel like it's really over - that I'm alright and my life can get on with it. However, I will never, ever be the same person I was before. That's a good thing I guess. God has a way of teaching us things and all things truly do work together for good.
Hugs to you sweetie, Mary Jo |
