2nd abraxane
 

Today I had number two abraxane and I did well after being such a baby last week. One of my friends sent me a card last week after my pity party that said pull up your big girl panties and get on with it. It was sent at such a perfect time. I laughed so hard and yes I did get on with it. This treatment went smoothly and they didn't have to knock me out with ativan to give it to me. I'm not sick and I feel fine. In fact I feel good because my Dr. talked like this may help my bone pain in my hip! I was afraid I would be on pain meds forever. Now I just have to get used to the idea of loosing my hair again. It's been awhile. But now that I pulled myself together I am excited about the abraxane. The twice I had taxotere ( always with something else) I had good results, and since this is in the family, it could work for me. Patty H

Best of luck to you and proud of you for being so strong. It isn't easy for us bc patients and we do have our ups and downs so don't be too hard on yourself. We can't be strong and brave and positive 24/7. We do the best we can.
