Herceptin without chemo

I have been on herceptin for 6 weeks without chemo. I know it depended on the cancer cells. But,how long did your Herceptin work before adding chemo?

Hi Rendi, sorry I can't answer your question because I started Herceptin w/Taxol and then Taxotere and then had it rest of time for a year w/out it. I was wondering if you were still being treated at the City of Hope? And, if so, who your oncologist was. Thanks in advance and wishing you all the best!

Hello Kaye, no I am not being treated at City of Hope. At that time in 1997 my Oncology was Merry L Tetef. My doctor now is Naveen Gupta.
