gamma knife question
 

I had gamma knife a month ago. I just found out my markers went up now. Please someone who knows about this talk to me!

Havah, I had the same happen to me. It took about 3-4 months to see the trend go down again.

My onc said other things affect your tumor markers, and healing itself can sometimes cause them to go up. The MRI's I had to follow up all showed the lesion steadily decresing in size, so I knew I was ok.

I had my first follow up MRI at 3 months.
