Xeloda Vacation For Me
I just returned from my every 3 week Dr. appt, Blood Counts and Herceptin...my counts were higher than when I started Xeloda, and after 6 rounds I have had such a good response, I get a Xeloda vacation for at least 6 weeks, maybe longer.....the nodes in my neck have totally disappeared on the Herceptin Xeloda combo....I am ecstatic! I just hope this continues without the Xeloda....this was my week off, I took it 14 days on, 7 off, then counts.
I was on the 1500mg a.m. and 100mg p.m. |
Sheila, Hope the response continues to be good for you.

Sheila...
Congratulations. The lady I get my Herceptin treatment with is ALSO on a Xeloda vacation and loving the nice hands and feet. Take care and God bless.

Sheila,
I'm so happy for you. Enjoy those six weeks, and I hope many more weeks beyond that. Barbara H. |
Great news Sheila
I am so happy for you. I know how that Xeloda can get your hands and feet so the "vacation" will be great for you.
Good to hear that it worked so well for you. I am about ready to begin on it again with Tykerb (I was on Xeloda a few years back) so know the effects and am not looking forward to the burning feet again, but oh well if thats the worst I can deal with it. You enjoy your time off Sheila and take care. |
Wonderful news Sheila. Hope its not vacation but permanent retirement.

Blood counts higher than when you began the Xeloda? Way to GO! This dose seemed to have been perfect for you against those pesky nodes.
I am really happy to hear this news from you. You and Esther can have a Harley race when she gets back from Europe! Celebrate big time. |
Great news, enjoy the holiday! The less chemo, the better - sounds like you kicked butt with this one, you deserve the vacation. I hope it's a really extended one

Hi Sheila, somehow I missed this great news, so a belated congratulations! GREAT NEWS about your break, as one of the others said, hope it turns into permanent retirement!
