Goon news re: insurance/brca testing
 

Hi everyone,

Wanted to share my good news. As you may remember, I was denied 2x by
BCBS of Il for the brca testing. With the help of Sue Friedman of FORCE, i
sent an appeal letter last week.

Today, Myriad (the only co. who does the testing) called and said they
would like to proceed with the testing and if the insurance denies it
again - myriad will write it off. I guess they are having better luck
getting paid if they don't get preapprovals...

whatever... just glad they are paying!!
