At some point in the past you used an online resource called NexProfiler™ Treatment Option Tool for Breast Cancer. At the time you registered for this treatment decision tool, you indicated that you would be interested in being contacted by NexCura, which operates the NexProfiler Tool for Cancer, for opportunities to participate in market research.

We thought you would like to know that there is a research group recruiting patients or caregivers for an online "bulletin board" extended forum about breast cancer treatment. The extended forums will take place over six weeks from June 27th through August 7th. We would be asking participants to share information on the progression of their condition, their feelings related to their condition, and how they are currently treating their condition.

We recognize that dealing with breast cancer can be challenging and that you may not be interested in participating in this research. If that is the case, please delete this email.

A bulletin board is an online forum where respondents can log in to chat and answer questions posted by a moderator. Questions will be posted each week for 6 weeks and a moderator will be reviewing your responses and asking any additional questions that may come up. We ask that participants access the board at their own convenience each week, for about 45 minutes per week. The boards can be accessed anytime day or night to post thoughts, or add any additional comments, etc. Also, not all questions need to be answered at the same time. You can always return to the bulletin boards later in the week to finish responding to the questions posted.

To thank you for your participation we will send you cash honorariums every three weeks: $70 after the first three weeks and $110 after the second three weeks for a total of $180 over the full six weeks, if you qualify and complete the research.

In order to participate in this panel, you must be a patient (or the caregiver of a patient) who has been diagnosed with metastatic (stage IV) breast cancer and is hormone receptor positive.
