Muga Scan w/E.Fraction loss - redo before or after tx?
My ejection fraction was down 5pts 2 tx ago and now they scheduled me to have a muga AFTER my next Herceptin. Does that make sence? Doesn't it seem that it should be before in case the #'s have continued to decline? I did do the AC and am concerned because my first Muga (56%) was after the chemo. I have no idea if my #'s were better before. Has anyone had this test done to check for further dropping after treatment? Thanks, Kim

Herceptin
Just had my 4th mugascan and my ef numbers dropped from 68% to 54%. Had to stop taking Herceptin for one month. Waiting to hear from my doctor to see if I can continue this month or not. From what I have been told, it's rather normal. Have had 17 Herceptin treatments so far.
