M&M breast cancer fund raiser: old or new?
 

I recently passed along (to many people) an email announcement I had received about a fund raiser. The pink and white M&M candies were being sold around the country in 8 oz bags. 50 cents from each bag was to be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Does anyone know if this is old or current? A person to whom I sent the message replied saying she thought that this "event" had taken place in 2004 and was no longer an option.
