what tumor markers to get
 

I know this might have been a topic of discussion earlier. I want to understand what markers you ladies get regularly to monitor the beast.....
I get just CEA and a complete Metabolic panel and all counts.....

Should I be getting CA 27-29 too...

How frequently do u get these markers....

I get the cea and ca15-3 once a month. I am told the ca15-3 is an older version on the 27-29, and gives a little different slant, but my onc prefers it. I am also told that my insurance won't pay for the markers tests more than once a month, and I have really excellent insurance that so far as covered all bases with no co-pay. I feel good about once a month. Some of the others on the site may feel differently. Good luck, Rupali! Hugs, Tricia
