Hi
Just wanted to see how you all were going.I hwas away over Christmas and couldn't post and have started study and don't get to the list much.
I am, on my ?th recurrence of skin mets and now on doxil.I had the hand foot thingy on xeloda but this time the hands have been incredible and peeled completely.Had a lot of pain this time and had to get strong pain killers.I have only had 2 and due for another this week.
Hope all others are well am interested to find out how you are going.

Several oncologist's at my center have been using low dose nicotine patches to combat neuropathy - seems to be working for the people I've spoken to....talk to your onc!!!

Maryanne, this is news to me! I'll be sure and ask my onc about this, as he's always interested in new ways to combat side effects. Thanks for in tip!

Do you mean the patches stop the peeling and redness?
