Friend Dx. w/reoccurance after 2 years
 

My sister called me tonight to tell me that her good friend and co-worker has a recurrance of B.C. She was origionally dx. stage 3 and hormone +. She had A.C., taxotare, radiation, and tamoxifin. A CT scan showed a mass on her breast bone. I told my sister to find out if she was tested origionally for her-2 and if she wasn't she needs to ask for a biopsy. I also asked my sister to let her know she would be welcome to visit this site whether or not she is her-2 positive. I don't know of any other site that is as wonderful and knowledgable as this one. She is in that dark terrible place that I sometimes find myself in. I want to help her gain the faith and trust that I have that everything is going to be alright no matter what lies ahead. It is a hard road to travel, but I give the Lord, my friends, family, and all of you credit for helping me find my way. Blessings and Love to you. Lu Ann.

Can't they use her "banked" tumor to perform FISH instead of a biopsy?
