email question

Dear Joe or whoever can reply: Is there a way we can select a thread and email it to someone not in the group? Several times I have wanted to email a certain topic and the discussion from this website to my daughter in Houston. I could print it off, scan it and send it, but emailing directly to her from the website would be so much easier. Please let me know if it's possible and if so how to do it. Thanks for all the help and information! Hugs, Tricia

Tricia, I know of one way which is pretty simple, if Joe or someone else doesn't have a better idea, and that is to send her a link to the page showing the topic you want to share:

1. Open the page with the topic you want to send, so all the replies are shown. If there's more than one page, that's ok because your daughter will be able to go to the next page on her own once you send her the link.

2. Point your cursor (the little arrow) in the address field at the top of your computer screen, where you see the Her2 Support address after the blue Explorer icon.

3. Click the LEFT button on your mouse, which will highlight the address in blue.

4. Click the RIGHT button on your mouse, which will prompt a display of options. Point the cursor at the "Copy" option, and click the LEFT button on your mouse.

5. Exit the Her2 site and go to your e-mail account. Compose a message to your daughter and within the text of the message, wherever you choose, click the RIGHT button on your mouse, point the cursor to "Paste" and click the LEFT mouse button.

6. If all goes as planned, you see a hyperlink to the page appear in the text of your letter. You can then send it to your daughter, and she can access the topic by just clicking on the link.

Good luck! Lolly

I couldn't have said it better.

If she doesn't have much time she can be on the internet, I could also see highlighting the whole thing and copy / paste it into a Word document too. I like to save internet data that way for myself too. Julie
