Just thought I would let you folks know how to get your lab to do the bayer serum test. See below:

Specialty Labs is a large reference lab that offers the Bayer serum Her-2 test, see the attached test description. Even if your physician's lab does not currently use Specialty as a reference lab, they should be able to ship your serum to the nearest facility and have the test done. You could also have the lab contact one of the reference labs that they do currently use and find out if they offer the test as well. This description that I have attached may help them to understand what the test entails.
