Flu shot with Herceptin
 

I want to know if anyone of u has recieved flu shot and Hepatitis B shots when on Herceptin or if you know there is any interaction between them.
Please advice

Hi,
I got my flu shot last weekend and I am taking Herceptin every three weeks. My doc said it is ok. When I first started on Herceptin in July, I got 3 colds in 6 weeks. So, my doc said it would be best if I got the flu shot.

I got a flu shot last Monday (10/31) and had a Herceptin treatment (every 3 weeks) on 10/28. Doc said not a problem.

I had my flu shot and Herceptin on the same day. No problem for me.

I had flu shot immediately after getting weekly herceptin, no problem.

I, too, had my flu shot and herceptin on the same day...no problems!

I was about to go check about having flu shot, but then chemo intervened (onc stopped hormonal therapy & started me on Xeloda), so I put that on the back burner for now, and hopefully I won't get any illnesses until next year!

I got my flu shot with my chemo. No problems.
