Strange midnight thoughts...

You've all been there. You lie down after a long day, your body begging for sleep. Then your mind kicks in. Proof that the mind is stronger than the body, you lie awake thinking about everything from cards you haven't mailed to next week's chemo treatment.

Well, last night I had a bizarre thought. If Warfarin (blood thinner) is rat poison and Herceptin is partly mouse, does that mean the Warfarin is keeping the Herceptin from working? I know, but I thought it was funny.

Love and light,

Lisa

Very interesting thoughts indeed...!!!

I thought that Herceptin was from hamsters...

Only someone as creative as you could come up with this, Lisa! My theory is to never trust midnight thoughts until the light of day! I remembered when I read your post that a doctor once told me I react to morphine like a cat: it does the opposite of what it's supposed to do. Does that mean if my nerves react like a cats the mouse stuff won't work for me?? Sometimes it's best not to go there! Hugs, Tricia

Actually, I attended the Learning and the Brain Conference last week. Apparently, we receive our greatest insights just before we fall asleep.

Didn't your mother ever tell you not to eat Halloween candy before you go to bed.
