hi i am a new member and would like to hear from anyone who has been on herceptin for more than 2 years. My reason is to find out about long term effects if there are any

I have been on Herceptin for 6 years, my first treatment was September 12, 1999. We are aware of a long term survivor who had her first treatment in 1995.

Neither one of us has had any side effects.

I Started Taking Herceptin In Dec. Of 1999 For 6 1/2 Yrs. They Just Took Me Off Of It At Which Time I Started On Abraxane. I Am Hoping To Start Back On Herceptin When Completing The Abraxane. My Original Diagnoses Was In Jan. Of 1996.

I Never Had Any Side Effects With The Herceptin And My Muga Scans Were Always Good.
