How often should scans be?
 

I am wondering how soon after clear PET scan and/or bone scan new mets can be detected. Thank you.

That's the, well one of the, mysteries of cancer. It could show up on a scan tomorrow. Of course, we can't scan daily. Some of us have quarterly scans; others every 6 months. Mine are quarterly since I have active mets.
