I've been DX as Grade 1, her2+++. I've just read an article which states out of a test group of 3,655 her2+++ women, NONE were Grade 1, so now I'm wondering about the accuracy of my pathology report.

You could get your slides sent to another lab for a second opinion report. I did that by sending my slides to Sloan Kettering. The local cancer center here (which is an affliate of Fox Chase) said mine was grade 3 but Sloan said grade 2 (based on their opinions of how normal/abnormal the cells appeared). Everything else was the same. Some of these tests (especially for grade) are subjective to the pathologist.

I am grade 1, o nodes, er/pr-, and her2neu+++. I haven't been on a trial. My tumor was 7 mm, very small. I've been trying to talk my onc. into herceptin, but have to get approved by the insurance first. I have just finished 6 treatments of CAF, and will start Radiation next week. 30 treatments.

I am grade 1, nodes neg, Her2+++, ER+, PR+. I had invasive lobular in left breast, small tumor 8mm. I had a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy and have no regrets at all. Going wed. to oncologist again to discuss chemo-she thinks I should do chemo (because of the Her2). I am still waiting for the results of oncotype DX test which will give me a little more info on recurrence rates.

Are you all sure that you're not confusing grade I with stage I?
