I would like symptoms of spine/bone mets. I have had pain in the back of my neck and lower back the last few days. Of course, you always wonder. Don't know if I slept wrong or something may be going on.

Joannie -- I have bone mets in a couple of ribs & vertabrae and only occasionally have minor aches -- not usually anthing I even take an advil for. With any symptom, my onc. tells me to use the "2 week rule" if your back/neck pain is the same or worse in 2 weeks, talk with your doc about your symptoms. Since you've experienced this for only a couple days, chances are you are right & you slept wrong or pulled something and by 2 weeks it will be resolved. Pam

Pain in the bones is the only symptom I know. I have had some pain, but not much. Of course, I also take 10 mg. of morphine daily!

If your pain persists, why not ask your onc for a CT scan? Knowledge calms fears.
