Does anyone know how to interpret a "hazard ratio"? I've seen reference in several of the ASCO presentations, and don't know what this is. Is a higher number or lower number better, what is statistically significant, etc? In particular, thinking of the slide that compared the different data with and without herceptin by age, tumor side, lymph node involvement, Er/Pr, etc.
