Hello, this is an interesting article...

I have wondered what "n=#" and "(p=0.00#)" stand for, do you know? They have mentioned those formulas in that article.

JoJo,

N refers to the number of subjects both in the study and in various subgroups within the study.

P refers to probability which measures the results of a study which cannot be attributed to chance.

P value is a bit difficult to understand:

If anyone is interested in training in reading medical data, I would highly reccomend participation in the National Breast Cancer Coalition's Project Lead.

There are scholarships available from NBCC and the HER2 Support Group will also offer limited assistance.

Upon completion of Project Lead. you will become eligable for a full patient advocacy scholarship offered by the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation to participate in their patient advocacy program at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in December.
