Circulating rumors at SABCS were confrimed Friday evening that preliminary results of the ongoing clinical trials to determine if Herceptin can prevent recurrence will be announced before the end of 2005.

Two dates were given, either 6 or 12 months. This would coincide with ASCO in May 2005 or SABCS in December 2005.

Keep in mind that these will be preliminary results, the FDA will not approve Herceptin for other than Stage IV bc patients until all of the trials are ended.
