Very good points! I really didn't mean for my response to sound negative, because I don't look at it that way. I, like you, believe in being prepared for battle and in my mind accepting the possibility of a recurrence is one way to be mentally prepared for the fight ahead. You are the exception to most people I know in that you were adamant about seeking a very aggressive treatment for early stage breast cancer and were fortunate enough to find an oncologist who would go off protocol to treat you - not to mention having an insurance company willing to pay for off protocol treatments. Keep up the fight and wishing you continued good health.
