Here's a link to a web page put out by a cancer survivor, he has some good tips. Also, if you find a doctor willing to prescribe off protocole, you still may be able to get your insurance to pay for treatment, depending on the company. The doctor would probably have to go to bat for you and get "Prior Authorization". Good Luck!
