Dear All
I thought I would tell you about my visit to the bone dr ( not sure what to call him) to see about my osteonecrosis( bone death) in my legs from steroids. He said I was 'very lucky' as it was in my tibia only and very slight. If it is in joints it can require joint replacement. He said it would probably correct itself in 1 - 2 years. i said lucky was not something I had felt very often since being diagnosed but was grateful for it. So now if only the navelbine will stop the cells reoccurring along the scar line, life would be complete. love lindaw |
Hi Linda,
Would you please refresh my memory? What steroids were you on and what symptons did you have? thanks el |
Linda, That is such great news! I have been thinking about you and pray your skin mets will vanish with time also . So Happy about this recent news! Love & Hugs, Beth |
Dear Eleanor
I was on dexemethasone ( sp) . I had no symptoms - just showed on the bone scan and they thought it was bone mets. love Linda |
Dear Beth
Thanks for you thoughts. How are you? love lindaw |
Linda,
It's nice to get good news, thanks for letting us know! Hope the Navelbine does the trick for you, it really zapped my skin mets(had nodules along the scar line also), so good riddance to the mets! hugs, Lolly |
I'm doing good thanks for asking. Glad to hear your prognosis was good for the bone problem. Love & Hugs, Beth |
