Thank you for work on behalf of me, I will let you know my plans, and I am sure I can come out this with the help of persons like you and others who are visiting this board. More about my history. 1994 Sep - Age at the time of diagnosis : 38. diagnosis t2n1mo, ER,PR+ve & More on PR Tratment: Radical mastectomy(Right), 6 cycles chemo with CMF and followed by Tamoxifen. 1995 going into early menopause, became diabates. 1996 July- Liver function test higher levels on SGPT=250 STP=148, no other abnormalities. 1997 Dec - Halting Tamoxifen after 3 yrs to observe the liver function tests. (big mistake) 1998 May - Recurrence on the scar. Treatment: Lumptectomy, radio therapy 26 cycles, Chemo 6 cycles (VAC), re-start on Tamoxifen. 2002 March- Development of cough after a flu infection. Chest x rays revailed due to post radiation effect. Sputum tests : no traces of infection. 2003 May - Developed a hoarseness. Wight loss, Loss of appetite & diabates becoming normal. Neck scan: Multiple limp nodes in bilateral supra. Chest scan: Consolidative patch in apex of right hemithorax & small nodular lung lesions in both the lung fields SP117 right, SP112 Left. 1. changes due to post radiation effect. 2. Tubercular etilogy. Abdoman: 9mm*9mm small liver lesion in Segment 7. Treatment None, Still under study. Hoarseness disappeared and it was doagnosed to vocal code palsy. 2003 Dec: Scan to Liver has shown another small lession 6 mm* 6 mm in segment 6. Treatment: Tamoxifen stopped. started taking Xeloda 2000mg per day. 2004 March: Scan: No significant changes in the liver tumors. Lung scan has shown pleral & pari cardial effusions Started taking Femara. Liver function tests normal. Present state: Still having cough & weak. Special notes: I am dexacardia (heart is in the right side) and situs inversus, which baffeles radiologists and doctors some times. I was worried as my cancer was in the right breast. I have no problem with my left breast. Chandi |
