Skin mets showed up mid-Dec. 2003 (2nd time around). Initially had Herceptin and Navelbine weekly for 3 weeks, no improvement, so onc put me on Xeloda 4000mg day, plus cont'd wkly Herceptin. The first time I had skin mets plus lymph node involvement Navelbine worked very quickly on the skin mets, took longer for the nodes, 8 mos. total. Skin mets probably returned secondary to no Herceptin for 3 mos. due to heart function of 30%. Also. I take Aromsin, since I am ER+. Hope this helps. Velva
