Two pathology reports (initial biopsy and surgery path report) showed I had HER-2 3+. That was a year and a half ago. Now my doctor did a FISH test and it shows no evidence of HER-2 gene amplification. I am confused. Has anyone else had this happen to them? What test do I believe?

From my understanding the FISH test is the more reliable one. I know went I was thinking about the clinical trial, my doctor said to enter it I had to have my tumor tested by the FISH. Hope this helps!
