I am anxiously awaiting the visist to the onc on Thursday - I realize I have to wait a while for the chemo to work but should they be increasing in number whilst on the navelbine? This freaks me out slightly and I think others have had this experience. Please advise me.

Linda, the doctor told me they can get worse before they get better. That has happened to me. I don't know how long you have been on the Navelbine for these? I was also told that by 4 to 6 weeks they should improve. Mine got worse on Navelbine and xeloda. I had 6 weeks of Navelbine and 12 weeks of xeloda. Taxol works for me on skin mets and the first treatment showed improvement. I hope you can get on top of this soon, hugs, Sandy
