Hi,
I have a breast cancer history diagnosed two years ago in my 30s as stage 11a her2+++, micro met only to one lymph node. Now I am having headaches which persist even though my MRI was negative. My neurologist just thinks the headaches are stress and tension related. Have any of you have a MR spectroscopy done despite a negative MRI. If so was it diagnostic for cancer when the MRI was not. Thanks for the information, I really would like to know it I should push for the MR spectroscopy. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Robyn |
robin,
I guess i have never heard of mr septroscopy? Can you explain it? |
Robin,
I'm with Michelle, I don't know what a MR spectroscopy is, but assume it must be more definitive. I myself have had 2 brain MRI's, one due to out-of-the-ordinary headaches, but whether you push for it or not is an entirely personal decision based on your level of concern, as many things can cause headaches. Love, Lolly |
What is a spectroccopy?
