I was 33 at dx-stage IV w/liver mets.35 now, just celebrated 8mos NED & next week will mark 2 years since diagnosis.
I just had a CT/PET last week, still NED & going strong & growing hair!The radiology report doesn't even mention anything about scar tissue in my liver or disease anywhere...like nothing ever happened.Somehow I managed to dodge the hot flashes of menopause & even saw the return of my cycle 3 months after I finished 49 weeks of chemo!
I know that we are the changing faces of breast cancer survival.
