I read your article and it made me sad and mad. Sad because you felt that you couldn't reach out to your friends and family to get the support you deserved (I have no idea if that was true or just your perception of it, but the whole idea that cancer still has such stigma is really distressing and unfortunately, very real). Mad because you suffered with bone mets for too long before your doctors finally got on the ball.
