I posted this but I think it's too far down...

What about in the US? Good sites (including where it is done.) My oncs don't seem to want to say much about it. I'm the one with the dizziness, and I want to get rid of it. Am thinking about Georgetown U. and CyberKnife (vs. GammaKnife)and/or Linac? Am going to ask regular onc about it tomorrow. Should I call my rad onc? (I would think I would.) I want whatever it takes!

Thanx.

Sue

Try our Brain Tumor Section. It describes all of these tests in detail and also where they are available in the US.

Also go to the Cyberknife Homepage.

Hugs and well wishes,
Christine

I don't know where you are located, but I live in Cincinnati, OH and the Barrett Cancer Center is where I had mine done - it's called stereo tactic radio surgery here and it's very effective when the mets are small and few. The doctors here try not to do whole brain radiation unless absolutely necessary. They also have a website if you search for "Barrett Cancer Center"

I know San Diego has a great facility as well. Hope this helps.
