Ihad Gamma-knife and I did well. It was an easy way to have surgery w/targeted radiation rather than a craniotomy. The most annoying part is when the helmet is fastened to your skull by giving numbing injections, 2 on both sides of your forehead, and 2 more on the back of your head in order to be sure it's secure and Cannot move. The entire proceedure takes a few hours, but the actual time of the radiation is afew minutes. The most side effects is a slight headache and some pain from the 4 small wounds. The ordeal may make you feel a little fatigued, but I can't say enough about the great results.
