I live outside Boulder, Colorado, complementary medicine capital of the world! Yes, I do believe in supplements and several other complementary treatments. It's important, I think, to remember to use the mind when fighting disease. Guided imagery therapy is a proven cancer-fighting technique (Simonton). Interestingly enough, however, during my original bc diag in 1999 I used many complementary treatments. This time round, I stuck primarily to traditional. Intuition, I guess. Since I've just stopped chemo, though, my goal is to strengthen my immune system. So my use of supplements has increased.
