In fear of starting a controversy I will just say that sometimes markers are VERY reliable. I wouldn't ever discount them. They save me a lot of scanning and invasive procedures. I know they cause a lot of stress and worry, but I feel much safer having them done than not. Early detection of mets can save you pain and suffering.
